Clivia nobilis
Clivia nobilis is a lovely pendulous species with very leathery, tough leaves. Often flowers twice a year producing 30 or more flowers in a most attractive “mop head”. Very neat and attractive leaves can make the whole plant look fan shaped. Unfortunately much slower growing than any of the other Clivia. Young plants (divisions) also available.

Clivia robusta
This was originally considered a very large and handsome form of C.Gardenii and known as the “Swamp Clivia”. Now a separate species, it likes more water than other species of Clivia. Large plants, either flowering or near flowering size.

Crinum firmifolium
Crinum firmifolium is a relatively small Crinum from Madagascar and which will flower for 2 or 3 years in a 6” pot before producing a quantity of offsets, soon reaching flowering size and demanding a larger pot or splitting up. Heads of white ribbon flowers carried on 12 – 18” stems. Requires frost protection.
